Getting Started with RSPCA Mobile

What are the standard tariffs and call charges for RSPCA Mobile?
You can find all of the information you need on the RSPCA Mobile tariff price on our Tariff page. This will outline our low cost tariff, our international and roaming rates and our half price RSPCA Mobile to RSPCA Mobile tariff.
How do I keep my old number?
Once you have received and activated your RSPCA Mobile SIM, simply call your existing network provider and ask them for a PAC (Port Authorisation Code). It may take them a day or two but once you have the code, just give us a call with the number and we will sort the rest. Why not take advantage of 'My RSPCA Mobile' online? We suggest you register with your new RSPCA Mobile number before starting the porting process. For more information on keeping your old number click here.
Can I find the network coverage in my area?
Because we’ve teamed up with our network partner Orange, you get all of the great benefits of the excellent Orange coverage. To check your local area, just enter your postcode in to the coverage checker here.
How do I activate my new SIM card?
Place the SIM into the phone and make a call - It really is that simple! The first call you make will be diverted to our activation service and you will hear a pre-recorded message. The activation process will just take a couple of minutes to complete and then your RSPCA Mobile SIM is ready to use.
Do I need to buy a new handset when I buy a RSPCA Mobile SIM?
Not at all. We offer SIM only deals, so that the life of an old handset can be extended and no unnecessary waste is caused. Just place the RSPCA Mobile SIM in to your old phone and make a first call to activate it. In some cases, your phone may be locked to another network. If this is the case, you will need to unlock your phone before you can use it with your RSPCA Mobile SIM. See the 'How do I unlock my phone?' question for more information.

Troubleshooting

What do I do if I lose my phone?
Please let us know so that we can put a stop on the SIM. You will be liable for any calls made on the phone until that point. We will also give you your phones IMEI (identification) number, which you should pass on to the police when reporting the theft. If it happens to you, call us immediately on 0844 324 7177 and we'll do our best to help you out in a difficult situation.

We can blacklist your phone so it will be unusable - our network can recognise if a phone has been reported lost or stolen. We'll send you a replacement SIM card when you are ready to resume your service.
My RSPCA Mobile SIM is not working with my old phone?
If you're happy with your existing mobile phone and have bought a RSPCA Mobile SIM only pack, your phone screen may show the following when you insert your new RSPCA Mobile SIM in your phone:
'Blocked', 'barred', 'incorrect SIM' or 'SP lock'.

This means your mobile phone is currently locked to another network and will need unlocking before you can use your new RSPCA Mobile SIM. To do this, call your current network provider to unlock it for you. You may have to give notice and they may charge you for this.
I have forgotten my password for my account?
That's ok, it happens to the best of us! On the login screen you will see that you can request an email if you have forgotten your password. We will reset the password for you and send a new password via email.
What are the extra contacts that are already on my SIM?
We have added a few extra contacts to your RSPCA Mobile SIM that you might find useful. You can now quickly find out your balance, call your voicemail or call the Customer Care team by calling the correct contact from your contact list.
How do I redeem credit if I bought my SIM online?
To redeem any airtime that you purchased with the SIM, you will need to go through the SIM register and redemption process here. You will need your SIM number and mobile number to hand. You can then create a My Account, which will allow you to quickly top up online and check your balance.
